Meal time

Just a little slice of Daphne's life here. It is possible that 96% of Daphne's meals have been given in this rocking chair. It has been a big part of her infancy so we thought it deserved its own blog entry.

A little history on the chair...we didn't want to spend the $700+ for a new one, so Kirstin scoured Craig's List for weeks towards the end of pregnancy to find just the right used one. We bought this 10 year old gem for $100! Drove down to San Mateo to get it from a mother of two, crammed it in the back seat of Kirstin's car, then our pal Annie helped us unload it (since Kirstin was too pregnant and Jonathan was...who knows where.) But then of course KW had to buy new cushions, could not let the pastel-colored, cartoon-style Noah's-Ark-themed original cushions on the premises for long. Jonathan thought they were just fine, mind you. But they clashed horribly with the frog-themed jammies.
