There I was feeling like a fish out of water in the pumpkin patch. We’ve all been the wrong size, shape or color at some point in life. Not to mention, I thrive in cooler temperatures.
Then I spotted this couple meandering through the patch. They came over and the lady plucked me up and never let me go.
They took me home with them. Now we’re like 3 peas in a pod. No more blinding glare from my orange friends! And rumor has it we’ll make pie out of those pumpkins in a few weeks!
