Jonathan mocked me at first.
"She's not gonna eat broccoli. Are you kidding? Why don't we just feed her stuff she likes?"
Eat your words, JD. I subscribe to the Feed-Them-Everything-If-You-Want-Them-To-Like-Everything
school of thought. And so far its working.
She loves green stuff so far. For quite a while peas were the favored green treat. But she's moved on and now eats broccoli, green beans, kale, and asparagus. Other favorite foods are tofu, pasta and cheese (she was born into the right family to be a cheese lover, that's for sure). Mangos have fallen out of favor. And bananas have never been on her hit parade. We're still holding out hope and serve them up, waiting for the day she discovers they are not only FUN to eat, but that you can mash them in daddy's hair!
Hopefully this strategy will pay off and we'll have a child who eats more than cheese sandwiches for the next 15 years.
Of course, if not, I would know how to manage a chronic cheese eater. Been there, done that.
